GENERAL PROCEDURE
Labiaplasties can be performed in a one hour procedure under local anesthesia in our office. As with all other paired body parts, the labia minora is not perfectly symmetrical.
To make it appear more symmetrical, the longer, wider, or thicker labium minus is cut and removed.
RECOVERY PROCESS
Post labiaplasty, most women wear a sanitary pad until fully healed. It is very important to keep the area clean and apply topical ointment for the two days post Labiaplasty. There is minor swelling for a few days.
