Combo Treatments at our MedSpa combine 2 effective treatments into one package so that patients’ results are enhanced. Combination packages work better than focusing on one treatment at a time because there are 2 different mechanisms of action. For example, a VI Peel uses acids to create a controlled damage to the skin, resulting in an inflammatory response that stimulates collagen. Microneedling on the other hand creates collagen by controlled micro-injuries to the skin that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process. Stimulating collagen production in 2 different ways results in better outcomes than if the treatments were done alone. Sometimes the combination treatments can be done the same day but other treatments require time in between to let the skin properly regenerate. Combination treatment packages are also highly customizable to each patient depending on skin care goals and often save money in the long run since you are bundling treatments!
