When I entered medical school, I thought I would become a cardiac surgeon, but while rotating on plastic surgery, I quickly fell in love with it for the entire variety and breath of plastic surgery. I’ve done everything from repair of children with cleft lip and palates and birth deformities, uncharity missions and Peru, India, China and Ecuador. From children with birth defects to burn injuries to breast cancer reconstruction for women, to cosmetic surgery, I love each and every part of it. And good reconstructive surgery is cosmetic surgery.
